Set brakes and wait for all clear from C. |
Locate water source. |
Set wheel chocks and tell driver / water engineer(A). |

Push in clutch, Put in Neutral, Engage pump. (Pull up red knob in front of seat on floor.) |
Take hydrant wrench and 2 ½” Y-splitter to hydrant, optionally a 2 ½” gate valve. |
Pull quick connect line and set up to shoot water. |
|
|
Open tank to pump valve. |
Open hydrant side covers, one or two depending on extra gate valve use. |
|
|
|
If water is needed, spin up the pump as needed by C, max rpm = 2000. |
Flush water till clear. |
|
|
|
Pull valve to rear (passenger side) discharge outlet. |
Attach splitter and optionally gate valve. |
Squirt water. You have at most 300 gallons of water in the tank. |

Radio IC , say water being used. |
Check with 4201 to see if need a 5” connection or 5” gate valve. |
|
|
|
Connect 2 ½” fill hose to truck input connection. |
Connect 2 ½” line to hydrant. |
|
|
|
|
Check with water engineer and when ready, Open 2 ½” hydrant valve. |
|
|
|
Open fill tank valve. |
|
|
|
|
Close tank to pump valve |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Check water level in tank, keep it at ¾ to full level. |

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Attach 2 1/2” output line. |
|
|
|
|
|
Pull 2 ½” line to fire scene. |
|
|
|
|
Connect 2 ½” nozzle to line. |
|
|
|
|
GET HELP and tell water engineer (A) ready to go. Do not try this alone! |

|
Open 2 ½” output valve. (Slowly!) |
Squirt water. |
|
